Skis vary in level. Children can be classified differently from adults, depending on their physical ability. Fortunately, there are suitable skis for both beginners and more advanced children. A child who is just starting to ski obviously needs skis that are relatively easy to handle. A child who is very skilled or has started skiing at a young age can sometimes use a sportier model.

Skis for beginner children are often recognizable by the so-called ‘cap construction’, where the top layer of the ski is folded over to the steel edge. Skis for more advanced children more often have a sidewall, where the side of the ski is made of a different material. This is also known as the ‘sidewall construction’.

In our ski shop, we have skis for all ages and levels. Children’s skis are offered both used and new. Used skis are always checked upon arrival and again before we send them home with you. On the website, the size, price, and condition of the skis are always clearly indicated. If you visit our store, everything is also clearly marked.

Children’s skis, like adult skis, are always waxed and sharpened, so they are completely ready for use.
