How to return skis to Skizaak Utrecht

Follow these steps to return your skis safely. Always use our return portal to create a label and track your shipment.

Required materials

  • Order number and email address
  • Sturdy ski-length box or double-box setup
  • Filling materials such as bubble wrap, foam or cardboard
  • Packing tape and hook-and-loop straps or cable ties to hold skis together
  • Ski straps – don’t forget to include them
  • Printed return label from the portal

Step-by-step plan

  1. Go to the return portal and select your order.
  2. Select the item and reason, then generate the label.
  3. Pack the skis according to the instructions below.
  4. Place the label visibly on the box and drop off the parcel.
  5. Keep the drop-off receipt until your return has been processed.

Preparing the skis

  • Clean and dry the skis.
  • Bind the skis together at tip and tail using hook-and-loop straps or cable ties. Place cardboard between the brakes.
  • Secure the brakes with cardboard to prevent them from puncturing the box.
  • Include the ski straps in the same box.

Double-box method

  • Inner box approx. 29.5 × 29.5 × 100 cm
  • Outer box approx. 30 × 30 × 100 cm
  • Slide the inner box into the outer box and fill all gaps, especially around tip and tail.

Filling and closing

  • Wrap the set in bubble wrap or foam, adding extra protection to tip, tail and bindings.
  • Fill all empty spaces so the skis cannot shift during transport.
  • Close the box securely with strong packing tape along all seams.

Common mistakes

  • No padding at tip and tail → risk of damage
  • Brakes not secured → can puncture the box
  • Box too narrow or insufficient packaging
  • Ski straps not included
